Get a pet

Pets are great, ask anyone you know who has one and we're sure that they’ll tell you they are the best things.
Depending on what animal you get will depend on the great things they will have to offer. Cats are great to have around the house/flat as they are good company and very easy to keep. They don't require much looking after at all, cats are very self-sufficient and because of that, they can choose to ignore you if they are not in the mood for you. Now dogs are almost the opposite of cats, they are always happy to see you, and full of the vigour of life but require a little more care than a cat. For example, they need to be taken out for walks, but this in itself can be good, as it gets you out of the house, and not only exercises the dog but you as well.
Cats and dogs however, are not the only pets you could have; they are just the tip of the iceberg. There's a whole array of other pets which you could let into your life from rabbits, rats, racoons, earwigs, mice, birds, spiders, turtles, fish, stick insects, snakes, monkeys, goats, mules, zebras, baboons, lamas, cheetahs, guinea pigs, sea horses, duck-billed platypus’, ants, worms, sea monkeys, whales, dolphins, amoebas, pet fleas, crocodiles, kippers (smoked or unsmoked), bats, leeches, flies, orang-utans, moths, butterflies, slugs, frogs, termites, ant-eaters, aardvarks, wolves and of course don't forget bulimic teenage catwalk models.
Anyhow, here's some links so you can actually find out a bit more about each of these:
